Sandbank Tour
This all-day adventure has something for everyone. Guests are in
for a treat, from relaxing on the white sands of Pange Sandbank to snorkelling for tropical fish and enjoying a BBQ Seafood Buffet. We board the dhow and sail away from Prison Island! Guests will be taken on a guided tour of a prison designed for “rebellious slaves.” a visit with giant Aldabra tortoises (a species now considered vulnerable), and snorkelling with a guide to view the stunning array of coral and tropical fish that surround the island.
Then we sail to the spectacular Pange Sandbank, a stunning stretch of white sand surrounded by turquoise waters. Guests can unwind in the shade of our large tents or swim in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. All these activities surely build an appetite! For lunch, guests can savour a delicious Seafood BBQ served with a cool, crisp beer and refreshing, soft beverages. After lunch, snorkel among the Clown fishes and Moorish Idols or simply take a walk around the sandbank to witness the birdlife. We will set sail back to town in late afternoon, and our guests will have one of their favourite days in Zanzibar!
